MEC has earned a Climate Bonds Standard Certification for Power Supply System Revenue Bonds (MoPEP Facilities) Series 2022.

The 2024 September Financial Dashboard for MPUA is now avaialble.

The 2025 MPUA Annual Budget was approved by the Board of Directors on September 27, 2024. The document contains detailed budgets for all four MPUA entities including Missouri Electric Commission, Missouri Gas Commission, Missouri Association of Municipal Utilities, and Resource Services Corporation.

Fitch Ratings - New York - 26 Sep 2023: Fitch Ratings has assigned an 'A' rating to the following bonds issued by the Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission d/b/a Missouri Electric Commission (MEC):

--approximately $92.49 million power project revenue refunding bonds (Iatan 2 project) series 2023.

Proceeds from the series 2023 bonds will be used to refund nearly all of the outstanding series 2014A and pay the cost of issuance. Pricing on the bonds is scheduled for the week of September 25, with a closing scheduled for mid-October.

Fitch has also affirmed the following MEC bonds at 'A':

--$117.2 million power project revenue refunding bonds (Iatan 2 project) series 2014A;

--$79.1 million power project revenue refunding bonds (Iatan 2 project) series 2015A.

The Rating Outlook is Stable.
